Today in PE we had to gymnastics. Our task was to take a photo or video. My group left me and did another thing so I had to do my stuff all by myself. I did the mat on the floor. My 3 activities I were backward, forward roll and forward roll into feet. One of our helper Teachers took a video of me. I found it fun to do the forward roll into feet because I have never done it before and rolling was fun. Here is a video of what it did.

200 Word Challenge
Today in wānanga we had to do the 200 word challenge. Our writing had to be about a whale trying to get a person. I tried to make get 200 words but it was hard because I didn't know what to write about. Here is the photo and the writing.
Help Me….
One day I wanted to do something new. Something I haven't done before. I haven't done diving before. I went to ask my friend if we could go today and he said that I have to wait 1 hour then meet him out at the ship rack. Later we met there and we went out to the ocean. Soon we got out in the far ocean and there were lots of sharks. Soon we got into our scuba gear and went down. We went down into the ocean and started taking videos about the sharks. Soon we got up and had a break. In that break we had some food and water to get our energy up. After we got our energy up we went back in the water. We went away from the boat to go and see the coral reef. We got to see the coral reef and when we were coming back from it. We saw something very big. We turned back to see what it was and I couldn't tell what it was because I only got a glimpse of it. My friend got on the boat and left me. I tried yelling at him to help me get away from the animal.
Playing To Win - Chapter 6 - 7
Today in reading we had to read chapter 6 - 7 for Playing to win. Our task was to put more on the character description we did in week 2 for Playing to win. In this chapter there was a lot going on about rugby and a girl. In chapter 6 the coach was introduced and he let Denny borrow his car to pick up his sisters. In chapter 7 there was a fight going on with Denny and Alice about rugby and why she doesn't like it. I added more description in Todd, Alice, Denny sisters, Coach and Pete and the rugby Boys. Abstract Art
For the past two weeks was have been doing abstract art. The task was that we had to make three art work using 3 elements from abstract art. There are six elements altogether. The six elements are form, texture, colour, line, shapes and tones. The three art work had to be made by a word. the three words were growth, love/compassion and fear. We had to use A3 paper for our first art work then we used A4 paper for the second task. After we finished that art work we had to do another one with warm and cool colours. I liked doing the second task because I liked doing the colours and adding the mountain on mine. It was hard for me to do the first one because I didn't know what to do for it and our teacher said not to sketch it. I am only showing you one of my works. Here is that work.
Playing To Win - Chapter 5
This week we only have to read one chapter because Monday was ladour day. Today we have to create a question for Friday discussion. Chapter 5 had a thing we predicted something that happens. The chapter had a big change of seen and there was a big seen that came really fast and left fast. My favorite part in the story so far is when Denny helped the man out. My question is: What is your favorite part in the story and why? What do you think cussed the car crash for Alice's brother? and Why?

Drama
For the past 2 weeks we have started term 4 and we had to do drama. Since one of our teachers have gone into to maternity leave so we have a different teacher. Last week our focus was freeze frame. There were four things we were looking at in our freeze frame. The four things were gesture, layers, facial expressions spacial relationship. Last week we had to get into groups and create four freeze frames from a script we were learning. My group was with my friends Shanaya, Alexia and Casey. I think these freeze frames good because there layers are all different and they are all doing some thing different form each other. Here is a photo of some our freeze frames.

Playing To Win - Chapter 3 - 4
Today I read chapter 3 - 4 of Playing To Win. After we read them chapters we had to go on to the group slides and read the task. The task we to understand the characters: When we are reading a story, it is important that we understand who the characters are and what their actions show us. We looked at this a little bit last term with our Gingerbread Man lesson. What can we infer about the character, how can we describe them? Here is my doc with my work.
