Angles

 Today in maths we had to create a slideshow about different types of angles. There are many different types of angles that we found on the slideshow. On the slideshow, we have to do put pictures of what angle it is on the slide. Here is the slideshow.

DLO - Maths

 Today in maths we watched a video and finished the work sheet from last week. After you did all of them you had to make a DLO explaining the different things. You could work with a partner. The person I worked with was my friend Alexia. Here is the DLO

Maths - Moanas Time

 Today in maths we have to do another problem solve question because we finished last weeks one. The weeks one is about time. We have to write a paragraph about how we found out the answer. Here is the paragraph and a photo of the question. I and Alexia worked together on the problem, we decided it would be the best thing to figure out how many days were in May, may has 31 days in it, but since she set it on the last day of April it would count as one more day on 31, which means we have 32 days. We then worked our 32x11 and we got 352, this was useless but we still did it anyway. I worked out that over 7 days she will lose 1 minute and 17 seconds. We also decided that it would be better to find out how many weeks were in May and there are 4 weeks. We then did 7x4 and worked it out which is 28. We then figured out the time which we found out it was 5 minutes and 8 seconds. The ending time will be 12:54:52.

Maths - The board

Last week we started a biteable on some maths work we did. We have to share how we worked out the maths question on biteable. I worked with a partner because if I did it alone I would not have found it out. My partner was Alexia. Here is the biteable I made.

Maths DLO

For the past few weeks, we have been doing angles. We had to do a DLO about how we solve angles around a point, on a straight line and in a triangle. I made my DLO on biteable so it was easier to do. 

Polygons - Geometry

 Yesterday we into new groups for maths. We had to make a copy of a slide show. I finished the slide yesterday. We got try out a new site to use for maths. Here is my slide show.

Shapes Are Everywhere

Yesterday we started a the second half of Hurumanu 5. We have started learning about shapes. We had to write the definition of the shapes by the shape. When we finished that we had to go to the next slide and fill that out then blog it. Here is my work.

Car Shopping

For the past 2/3 weeks ago we started a new activity about cars. We had to make a DLO about car shopping. We got to choose 3 cars that we liked but over all we had to choose one car we would drive and would work. We had to do it in groups of 3 or 4. We were limited to sites but not all of them worked. My group didn't choose what one we would use all together. My group was with Casey and Kayden. The teacher said we have to answer some questions. I learnt how to use my money wisely and save it up. Animal Cost

Today in hurumanu 6 we are learning what are the cost to get animal. We had to do it with a pear. My pear was Alexia. The animals were Turtle, Dog, Rat/Mouse, Cat, Rabbit/Guinea Pig and Fish. Whats on the slide is what the setup cost is. Here is my work.

Needs And Wants

Last week on friday we learnt about Needs and Wants. We had to create a DLO about it. The DLO had to show us what we need and what we want.  We had to show what needs are and what wants are. Here is my DLO.

Volume

For the past week in maths we are learning what volume is and doing work sheets about it. Last week we had to do the volume in the classroom, cupboard, ball bin and gym, I didn't get all the measurements in one day but I got them all. The 3 means so you know that it is volume, and if you don't put the 3 there you got your work wrong. Volume is a type of maths measurement, at first you might think its hard but its not when you get going on it. Volume: if you fill up a cup of water it is ml. In volume you use Kl(Kiloliter), Ml(Milliliter), L(liter) or M(Meter), Cm(Centimeter) and Mm(Millimeter). Here is my maths work.

Today I had to do all of this. We had to choose between 20-40. I choose 25. Here is some of the work I did today

For the past week in maths we had to create a menu for a week for  a family and your budget is 200$.  You could choose from Medium or Hard or Easy, I choose Medium. Here is my work.
 

Mathletics

Today I did some maths on Mathletics. I choose to do Geometry since I know some of it but not much. The first questions I did I got them all right 10/10, the next one I did which was more harder I got 2/10. Thats what I did today. Hope you all are safe and staying in your bubble.

Crack The Code

Today in maths we had to crack a code. I found it hard to find out the answer. I found it easy to found out what right place the numbers go in. First we had to rub of number 738 of the broad. Second we had to find out what numbers out of 6,4,5,2,0 are right. Third we had out the right numbers in the right place. Here is the Crack The Code clues. Factor Patterns

For 2 weeks we were working on a maths sheet. It was called Factor Patterns. I found it hard to work out most of the questions. I found it easy to get the factors down on the paper but it was also hard. Here is my work I hope you like it. If you have done factor pattens can you tell me what you found easy and hard? Also the X on my work means I cant find a answer. Sorry if you dont know what a factor is I would explain it but its to hard explain

Tricky Maths Problems

Today for maths in blue group we had to work out 5x68, 4x97 and 7x26. I only worked out two of them they were 4x97 5x68. Im going to show you one way how to work it out, 4x97 this is how I did it out 4x10 (times that by 8 times) = 360.4x7=28. 28+360=388 so the answer is 388. If you want me to show you how to work out 5x68 or 7x26 say in the comments what one you want to know. I found it hard to work out 5x68 and 7x26. I found it easy to work out 4x97.here is my work. Math Problems

Today with Miss Woolley we had to work out a problem. The problem was 60 ÷ 5 =? and 48 ÷ 6 = ? and 44 ÷4 = ? I found it easy to find out what 44 ÷ 4 is and 60÷ 5. I found it hard to find out what 48 ÷ 6 was but I found what it was after. Here is my work. I hope you like it.
