Kiwi Innovators - The Martin Jetpack

 Today in Te Ao Whanui since I finished my must do I can do the may do. Each week may do is a reading comprehension. Last week I did women voting. This week I am doing the martin jetpack. After we read the article that came with it, we have to answer some questions. Here is the answers to the questions. In his Otago garage in 1980. So no one could steal his idea or remake it before him. Space travel in vehicles with people. Manned flights first started in 1996. MK2 an Indian company that is working with the military. After we answered the questions we have to watch three videos about the jetpack. After we watch the videos we have to make a flying machine. I don't think my flying machine is the best but I did what I could. Here is a DLO I made of my flying machine.

EOTC Extra

  Today in Wānanga we got more time to finish our EOTC task. Since I have finished all the other work I got to do the extra. The task I choose to do was that we are a someone making a trip for a family and our budget is 200$. Since my other friend has finished her work we got to do it together. My friend that helped make this with me was Shanaya. We did the task on slide. Here is the DLO/task.

5 Facts From Journey On The Sea

  Today in Wānanga we had to do another assessment. The assessment was about science. After we finished our assessment we had to do another task of eotc slide show. The task I choose to do was that I had to read an article and make a DLO that has 5 facts from the article. I choose to use piktochat to make the DLO on. Here is the DLO and the link to the article. CHD And ASD

For the past week we have been doing research about Mental Health. I did my research about ASD and CHD. We had to make a DLO about the research we found. We got linked to limited websites. I did my DLO on slides because its simple and its easy. We had to add a graph on to the DLO for the statistics in maths. Here is my DLO.

World War 1

For the past week we had to create a DLO about the WW1. The DLO had the questions in it and the answers in it. It was cool to learn about the war because my great great Granddad was in world war ll. Here is the DLO.

Needs And Wants

Last week on friday we learnt about Needs and Wants. We had to create a DLO about it. The DLO had to show us what we need and what we want.  We had to show what needs are and what wants are. Here is my DLO.

Informative DLO - Primary and Secondary sources

Last week we did a DLO about primary and secondary sources if we were done. It is important to know what primary and secondary sources are because if you didn't know the difference between primary and secondary you won't know what was written at the time and what was written years later. Today my teacher made us do something different form what we normally do. She said "That we had to do a DLO about PB4L and the school expected behaviors".
