Communication In Space

For the past week we were learning about Mars and Space communication. We had to create a animation that had answers to question we got given. The questions were:

1. What are some ways we communicate on earth? Pick 3
2. How do these forms of communication work, what do they rely on or use?
3. Why can nobody hear you shout in space? 
4. Is radio communication instant? Why/Why not? 
5. What does this mean for space missions from earth to mars?

Sadako And The Thousand Paper Cranes

Yesterday Miss Birtch showed us a video, the video is called " Sadako and The Thousand Paper Cranes" Here is the link to the video we watched. She gave us some questions after watching the video. 

1. Who is the girl in the video? her name is Sadako
2. Where is she? Up in the sky
3. Why do you think she is there? Because shes dead
4. How did she get there? She woke up there?
5. How does she feel? Sad but Happy
6. What is a paper crane and what does it represent? A paper crane is like a bird out of paper, I think it represents happy and sad times.

Matariki - Seven Sisters

This week for literacy we had do re tell the story of The Seven stars of Matariki because this week is Matariki. We listened to the writer read the story we had to make notes so when we make our slide show we know what to do.My buddy´s were Merika and Riansha is my buddy´s.The story was about Mitai the youngest and his 7 brothers living in the village of Maketu and they loved no one else but their else because no one could match their beauty.One day all of them went hunting up a mountain when they got to the top they saw beautiful woman they all fell in love except for Mitai because he knew that they were patuaiarehe  fairy woman. Mitai knew something was going on the woman planned to starve them all to death the men became skinny and their looks faded away then they captured the woman they took them to the go. Biteable

In cybersmart we have been learning about biteable. Biteable is like google slides but cooler you have lots of themes to choose from. It was easy to get the theme I wanted to pick. It was hard to get the right thing to write down. I like the backgrounds you could choose from and the amazing animations on then.
