Pink Shirt Day Design

 Today we had to do another Pink Shirt Day activity. The activity was we had to make a shirt design involving pink shirt day. We could do the shirt on paper or on our Chromebook. We had to do a back side and a front side. Our Teacher said we had to say Pink Shirt Day on the shirt. We could put anything on the shirt as long as it involves pink shirt day. I cant show you a photo of my shirt because my camera doesn't work

Digital Black Out Poetry

 Today we tried something new on our Chromebook. Since we have been doing black out poetry art, the teacher is making us use a website she found. The website is called "Blackout Poetry Maker". Here is the link to the website. The website is cool to use and it will allow you to put your own story on there and make a black out poem. The website was easy to use and not very slow at all for me. The website has some stories for you to choose. The stories are Alice In Wonderland, Pride and Prejudice and lastly Heart of Darkness. I made 7 blackout poems on this website so I think you could make a lot as well. I perfer the physical poems but I also like Digital. Here is my poems

Upstander Actions

 Today we started a new task for Pink Shirt Day. The task was to make a DLO about Upstander actions. We could do it with a buddy. I did the DLO with my friend Shanaya. There are 5 Upstanader actions. You will see the 5 Upstander actions on the slide. Here is the DLO. 

Black Out Art

Yesterday we started black out art. Black out art is new to some of us. I haven't don't black out art before but I was willing to give it a go. We had to pick a piece of news paper. We had to watch a video. The video was made by Austin Kleon. We had to use black pen, black felt, glue and scissors. First we talked about what is black out art. Second we had to watch the video. Third we got the newspaper and the supplies we needed and got started. I found it difficult to find words to make a poem/quote.  I found it fun to do something new and different. I cant give you a photo about what I did because my camera doesn't work.

PE Expectations

 Today the teacher is making us write down the expectations of PE. If you don't have your PE gear there will be a concussions. But I don't want excuses of that I don't have it because I cant find it. You mush have your PE gear. You must get changed and come sit down quietly so the teacher can do the role. The teacher don't expect you to come and play with the gear out.Those people without PE gear will not participate. Before coming into the gym you must line up quietly so we can get started. 

The Tea Of Pink Shirt Day

 Yesterday we the start of term 4 and we had wānanga period 2 and 3. Since Pink Shirt Day is on Friday we are doing so activity about it. We had to create a DLO about it and we had to add 5 facts/information about it. We could do a the DLO with a buddy. I did the DLO with my friend Shanaya. We did our DLO on slide. . We had to read a article called Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bulling. Here is our DLO. 

Playing To Win - Chapter 1 - 2

 Today I was the start of term 4 and we had reading period 1. The book I was reading was called "Playing to win". The book was made by Fleur Beale. We had to read chapter 1 - 2. We got a good introductions to the main characters in the story. We have to write a summary which explains what has happened so far in the story.

So far in the story Denny has got into West bridge high and is not liking it so far. I think Dennys personality is a chill and cool type of person and likes sports very much and is very athletic. The characters so far are called Denny, Alice, Todd, Ms Finlayson, Rose, Lucy, Zac, Pete, Clara, Sally. He meet a girl named Alice and a guy named Todd who is inlove with Alice and Todd thinks Denny is going to steal her from him. Denny has a car and little sisters.
