Hell-Ectric Guitar

Hell-Ectric Guitar is a book made by Brian McGrinn we are learning to look deeply in to the character my opinion about the book is a yes because its a really good story to read i think you shoud read it. the main character is Frank and the other characters are Franks mum and dad, the old man and the band crunchy bongo and duck. We  had to do activity sheets one was a I wonder sheet the other one was word investigation chart the last one is character inference chart they helped me understand inference and the character more. My favourite part of the story is when Frank had pain in his stomach. I recommend you read this book. I rate this book 5 out of 5

Kindness

Today we brainstormed some ideas for what think kindness is and we wrote 10 sentences on what we think kindness is. we got in groups of 3 and 4 and wrote down ideas for what is kindness we shared then to the class and wrote then down in a list on a big piece of paper. then from there we wrote our own non rhyming poems with those ideas but turning them into our own sentences.I found it easy to get ideas on.I found it hard to make the sentences.

Hockey Fun

Today we had this man named Peter from Canterbury Hockey visit us. In hockey we were learning about how to hold the hockey stick and dribble. First we did dribbling. We had to imaging the ball was stuck to the stick with super glue. After that we leamt how to stop and dodge other players. We had to control the ball at all times. Lastly we played a game like Rod The Nets. We had to dribble the ball to our net. I found it hard to get the ball to slow down. I found it easy to get the ball at our net. I learnt how to play Rod The Nets in hockey today.

All about me

The week in  Punui-o-toka we have been learning how to introduce yourself to others in the internet Safely.  It was hard to get the facts. I love how we had to make yourself.
