Tapa Cloth Inking

Last week we had to put ink on our tapa cloth. I thought it would be hard to put the ink on it and there would be more instructions but there wasn't. The materials we used were white ink, brown ink, newspaper and water. First we had to put the newspaper on the table. second the teacher gave us ink and water and she told us how to do it. last we put the ink and water on the paper.A tapa cloth is a thing made in the Pacific Ocean and it is originally made out of bark and trees. Normally people do 6 - 8 boxes if they are on paper but if they are on a cloth you can make as much as you want as long as it fits on the cloth. The word tapa is from Tahiti. It doesn't look different yet but it will when it drys. We had to create a haiku. Here is my haiku and tapa.
