In maths we are learning about directions. We listened to the story Where going on a bear hunt. We picked out the obstacles in the story. Then we draw a map of the story. We had to carefully think about the where the obstacles in the story would go. Then we had to write driections from the house to the cave. We had to use nort west south and east for the directions.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hi Carla it is Merika I just read your blog post of Going on a bear hunt.It is cool even how you drew the map and how you put a compass in the top right side of your writing. This reminds me of when in term one with Mr Breach we had to make a pirate map for can do's and I put a compass on the top right side with crossbones and very difficult obstacles for them to to figure it out so they can past put when I colored it in and but some sharpies on it looked fabulous. But maybe next time you should re read it and check if it makes sense and also you should check if you wrote your words correct.Maybe you should put more punctuation and full stops in your sentences.
ReplyDeleteHi Carla
ReplyDeleteI like your because I like maps directions. I really how you added north, east, west, south. Maybe next time you could make it less blurry because I cant really see your writing the piece of paper. Next time you could add punctuation like full stops and commas.
